Angan - Angan Bangsa Malaysia

Mereka menyingkap sejarah.

In Malaysia, the Chinese are suppress. Yes, I think so too. Is not so much a matter, whether the rich Chinese entrepreneur made it, but is about our rights as a Malaysian citizen!

As a Malaysian citizen, don't you think that we have the rights to affordable education like anyone else in the world? As a Malaysian citizen, don't you think that we have the rights to assemble, protect our religion and voice our expression?

I can almost guarantee you that the Umno malays treat the Europeans and Japanese better that their own Malaysian Chinese.

Don't the Umno government realize that there are many more Chinese entrepreneurs who didn't made it! There are many who still live below poverty line with no education.

If you attend some of the Umno division meetings or Umno Youth meetings, the amount of Chinese bashing in the meeting is unbelievable.

But if the non-malays were to hold a meeting talking about non-malays rights such as citizen rights or religious rights, immediately Umno brand the non-malays as causing racial and religious tension.

If the malays can't treat their own citizens fairly, how much respect do you think they will earn from the international community!

Obviously some leaders like Mahathir, don't give a shit what international community think of Malaysians, until he needs money or trade, then he will start to bribe.

Robert Kuok, so called richest Malaysian has set up his head office in Hong Kong more than 20 years ago because he knew that he will never be able to expand his business had he continued in Malaysia.

Krishnan, spend most of his time in London. The richest Malaysians now are the AP kings and they are still growing. The malays already control 45% of the KLSE and had it like Carsberg, Genting, Guiness, Magnum, ToTo, their market share is probably 55%.

Can we publish the names and identify all the nominees and settle the issue once and for all! The people who are suffering are all the poor irrelevant of race.

The malays have been so selfish. Chinese, Indians……….leave Malaysia if you don't like it here that is what malay always say. Malays have to see the fact that they are also pendatang from Indonesia. Even Pakistanis with PR enjoy privileges like malays.

The Orang Asli have been always marginalised. Their option is convert to Islam to live like others. The malays have set in their mind Malaysia and everything belong to them.

Even Indonesia doesn't have such racist category. Nowhere else in the world have bumi/non-bumi double standards citizenship. So what Lee Kuan Yew say is right.

You someone miss the point here. You always look at the successful Chinese entrepreneur but you didn't look at those non-successful one.

As for the malays, you don't have to fight it out with other competitors. All you need is to join Umno and you will get government project. That in fact is the biggest corruption. The malays are usually the biggest corruptors in most government business.

(Please focus on the facts. You are not solving the real problems of the malays.)

Let us just say, all Chinese become Muslims. There will still be difference between Chinese and malays. I can still guarantee you that the Chinese will still be more successful, because we don't sit under the coconut tree and hoping for coconut to fall. (As how the late Tunku Abdul Rahman describes the malays.)

Let me tell you, the Japanese, Koreans are also corrupt. But they are still more successful. Corruption is not the major hindrance of the progress for the race. It is the race's self determination and initiative that decide the race progress.

NEP is the biggest legalise corruption practice ever establish in world history. Umno, in the name of malays protector, uses NEP to enrich their families and their friends.

If you are not one of them, malay dude, I pity you. But if you are a smart malay, you should be like Japanese.

Malays have dominated the army, government projects, KLSE big capital companies, ministry and police. What else do you want? Bungalow house, Mercedez Benz and maybe a money printing machine.

Lee Kuan Yew did not apologize for what he had said earlier because he believed what he said to the foreign delegates is nothing but only the truth. He went further to say that Singapore never protested over the racist remarks made by the idiot Umno leaders.

Lee, you are a great gentleman unlike the BN idiots.

That letter and the annex sum up the difference in calibre of the politicians in Malaysia as compared to that of Singapore. One in Singapore who is truly a statesman and all the rest in Malaysia are complete idiots. Just wonder why they get elected every election.

The letter from Lee is a further slap in the face for Badawi. Essentially, Lee stood up for what he said and what he said is the truth. Lee only apologizes for causing Badawi discomfort for telling the truth.

How could Singapore be accused a racist while it is not a secret that the government of Malaysia is a practitioner of racism! It is sure hypocracy in its higest order. Shame on you, Malaysia Bodoh!

Lee did the right thing to release his letter to the media, so that his side of story won't be twisted by those Umno-controlled media. He actually said he was "sorry" for causing discomfort, but short of an apology.

With all complains about the brain drain etc. Sometimes you just get the impression that the Malaysia government just doesn't bother to make any effort to retain those really bright ones.

To build a mosque is extremely simple. To build another religion place of worship requires applications which may be delayed up to 20 years and even beyond.

What is up with all the hypocrisy?

Malays in Singapore are given special privileges. This is because the government is conscious that they are minority citizens. The special privileges include financial, education and even political representation.

I scored straight As in every single exam I took in Malaysia. I topped my school year after year in every examination. I am active in extra curricular activities etc……….

But because I am non-malay, I have not been appreciated. Another country has recognized my talents and has offered me a generous scholarship. It has been almost 9 years in this foreign country - and it has nurtured me very well. I got all my first choices. I am considering converting my citizenship. I feel very appreciated for my talent here.

Malaysia did not help me when I needed scholarship, funding etc. The other country did and they did it generously. I can proudly say that because of the other country, I am now a very successful researcher in the life sciences field.

I have got all As in my SPM yet I could not enter local university but one the only malay of my school was given scholarship to Japan for further studies!

I studied STPM and not managed to enter local university to study science and surprised to find that the "hot" courses like medicine, law and engineering were taken up by many so-so result malay and lazy malay students!

No wonder patients mistreated, houses collapse, criminals on the street!

Thanks to Lee Kuan Yew for me to work in Singapore. It is equal opportunity here. People work hard and get rewarded and not based on race.

Singapore has almost no nature resources vs. Malaysia, yet it has strived to become a better country in many aspects. Malaysia's nature resources have been wasted by the lazy malays. When other people getting achievement, you ugly malays marginalised the rests.

What an eyesore it would have been if we had completed the half-bridge. We would have been a laughing stock for the rest of the world.

But the bridge did not make sense from the very beginning. In the days of the mega projects - it was 'okay' in the sense that the new bridge to replace the causeway was just one of the numerous resources wasting projects.

We do not need a new bridge to attract business to the Johor Port. Better infrastructure, and most important, better 'software' will enable us to compete with Singapore. In fact, the problems that the water pipes and cables underneath the present causeway would only arise if we go ahead with the bridge.

All in all, at least the project was stopped. Now we wonder how much taxpayers money will have to be given to the contractor.

To add to the 'state of the soup' on the bridge matter. Here we go again with the standard BN way of doing things. Recapitulating the bridge idea:

· Someone in the ministry comes up with a flea-brained scheme that is never thought through in its entirety.
· Another BN member seconds the motion based on 'feelings'.
· The idea is translated into some schematics.
· Idea gains immediate support in BN parliament because it will 'put our southern neighbor in its place'.
· No real quantification of the benefit to the people is made except for some vague generalisations.
· No public debate is held on the matter and its implications even though the scheme involves millions of the people money.
· Tenders are awarded for the contract to minions (or their proxies) of the BN.
· Arrogant BN ministers defend their positions when questioned by the people.
· Idea is accelerated through planning and implementation phase.

Then, all of a sudden - idea abandoned (as in education policy, environmental policy, fiscal policy, national unity policy, transportation policy……….you get the drift).

The net result? Wasted people funds in compensation for all that work mobilisation. No apologies. Worse, no minister's head rolls, i.e. no accountability. So, what else is new?

I am a dental student in the US from Malaysia. Have been living in the US for about 7 years now and I would like to share some insights that may help view things from another perspective.

Lets consider few other interesting facts:

A comment was made where even the western countries are going through a phase of "brain drain". Let me tell you that it is not true.

This is why. Countries like the US are continuously reaching out in welcoming more and more foreign citizens in all important fields such as engineering, IT and medical. They will never go through "brain drain".

1. If you recently graduated from a dental or medical school in the US, regardless of where you are from, you are eligible to apply for an expedited green card. In fact, they will approve your green card almost immediately so that you can start working.

2. All professors are encouraged to do research and studies in the summer and publish them. The more publication you have, the more likely you will receive a raise.

3. US was worried from a report published few months ago that foreign enrollment for masters were dropping due to tighter visa restrictions. They admitted that less foreign enrollment would greatly affect the R&D of the country. Why? Most R&D is done by foreigners and they are greatly recognized for it.

4. I know a South Korean guy who graduated from my school and went on becoming a dentist. Two years after graduating from dental school, he returned to my university to give a presentation. His English was fair, not that great but guess what, his two dental practices in the State of Utah, made US$3 million a year profit (not revenue).

5. In Malaysia, the pay for a medical lab assistant with a bachelor is RM800 - RM1000. In the US, the pay for the same position is US$1800 - US$2400. And they do look at color actually. If you are a foreigner (with a permit of course), silently preference will be given to you……….because they are loyal and hardworking.

To make it fair, even without converting the currency, we can see which country values its citizens and strives to improve their R&D. (Keep in mind, things are cheaper in the US than in Malaysia, without converting the currency. You are lucky if you can buy a decent car.)

With all this said, if a person is qualified and have a family to support, why would they want to go through the trouble of "not getting admitted to university because of race quota filled", "not getting promotion because of color", and lastly after spending more than RM400000 on medical school, you are to spend 5 years slave labouring for the government, not knowing how you are going to pay off the debt and support your family although you hold the prestige "Dr".

These are all things that distract from progressing for an individual and for the country. Our country is losing a lot of time and talent but subjecting all these on qualified individuals. So what you to do, not let this effect your progression.

We have to take care of ourselves first and after that worry about patriotism. Patriotism is not going to put food on the table or grow money tree outside my house.

I am not planning on returning back to Malaysia (to settle) unless things change in Malaysia. But with the money I will earn, I can visit Malaysia every year and contribute to the tourism industry. When I reach the age of 60 and retire, then I will return to Malaysia.

We have never experienced any racial discrimination in any form whatsoever the many years I have been in Canada. A Vietnamese sushi chef here I know was once a refugee at Pulau Betong. He like many others, I know has prospered and his children have all gone through university.

Malaysia loss of talents to other countries is the result of the pervasive special rights now entrenched in the constitution.

It was meant to last for 25 years to allow - in the words of the first prime minister - "the malays to catch up with the Chinese". It is now 49 years later.

In foreign countries such as Canada, it is the majority that has to take care of minority rights be it the gays, the natives, the women and whatever groups there are. We pay heavy taxes but these go for the low income and poor people irrespective of color, creed or race.

So malay, you may keep your rights and perpetuate them. Such things are archaic. Who loses in the end? Your country, which should have been a first world one by today.

"Malaysians must now assess themselves by the international yardsticks."

I thought we did. We compared ourselves with the likes of Ghana and other third world countries and we came out tops. It made us feel good and strengthened our belief of Malaysia Boleh. Way to go Barisan Nasional.

Actually Najib was the one who compared Malaysia with Ghana as we were granted independence at about the same time. I guess he was trying to find something good to say about our country and he must be scraping the barrel trying to find one.

Don't be naive. This is our problem today. We use benchmarks that make us look better than we really are. We are losers in the end if we continue to delude ourselves. Let us compare ourselves to an undiscovered and barren land with nothing on it.

We would look even better. Why Ghana? Don't insult the Ghana, as they are smarter than we think. Maybe they are even less corrupt than us. At least, they do not pretend about it.

I wonder why the need to apportion blame on the British for all our woes be it with the system of government or the people running it? Can't we just acknowledge the fact that our society is simply too docile to even make an impression on the ruling elite?

The condescending attitude of those in power is not because of the British but purely self-made. It has come about because Umno has been in power far too long. We are to be blamed for the woes and not the British. The faster we rid ourselves of this delusion, the better it is for everyone.

I am grateful to the British for what we are today. Imagine what it would have been had we been colonised by the others?

Mistakes committed by the administration should not be apportioned to our colonial masters alone. Our woes are our own making. Why must repressive laws be instituted to curb civil liberties? Yes, ISA was the brainchild of the British but it was for a reason. Should the law be perpetuated?

I am just trying to say the obvious. Why must we blame the British for all our woes, after all we have been an independent nation for almost half a decade now.

We cannot go on blaming the past for our present. We have power over the present. What is past is gone and we cannot do much about it. Thus, look at the dinosaurs. The future belongs to those responsive and flexible to change.

Let us give the British a break. And through this talk and other medium of communications endeavour to change the mindset of Malaysians, especially the ruling elite. Our arguments therefore, should be relevant and not grossly off-tangent to create an impression that our mentality is still infantile.

The problem lies with a ruling party that wants to hang on to power for as long as it desires. It does not care whether it is done the right or wrong way. If something is not right blame it on the British. You have a convenient scapegoat. It is that simple.

The moment we stop passing the buck the better it is for all of us. I would rather take the bull by its horns than blame others for my lack of courage.

Anyway I strongly feel this country is being run by a bunch of incompetents, led by the most useless leader the country ever had.

What is really wrong with our country? We are being led by a "Mr clean" who is himself is far from clean. Just look at what his brother, his sister-in-law, his son and his son-in-law are doing.

All he can say is that "I don't know". He is either stupid (obviously not, in fact, we are more stupid in the last election) or a hypocrite. Take your pick.

In Malaysia, we have very few critics, very few who would dare tell the emperor that he is wearing only a "sarong". Worse that sarong is slipping down fast, exposing his ass when he stoops down.

Even fewer still would dare suggest that the prime minister should substitute a pair of trousers with a belt, and suspender instead of merely refolding his sarong. Staying with the sarong, even he has folded it up again, would result in it slipping down again.

We must benchmark ourselves against established standards so that we do not mislead and lull ourselves into a state of complacency. We can always improve in whatever we do, that is what I mean by the word "progress". Nothing stays the same.

We have to be like the cougar, the fastest in its family, not political "fat cats" of course. We need to hone in our sense of survival and be constantly in a challenge-response mode.

We have to think outside the box, reconfigure, innovate, and be better than the competition in the region and around the globe. Success depends increasingly on speed, flexibility, adaptability and agility.

The emphasis in the plan in my humble opinion should be on intellectual capital formation. Education in science, mathematics and information technology is the foundation. Human capital is a pre-requisite for sustainable economic development.

Most of all, we need to believe in ourselves and that we can achieve our goals. "Malaysia Boleh" must not merely be a slogan, but should be embedded in our national and individual psyche.

I have never studied Mandarin! Honestly speaking, I regret no knowing how to read or write Mandarin (except perhaps my own name!) and this is definitely one of the biggest regret of my life.

I send my children to Chinese primary schools and mind you, I feel they are much more disciplined, their thinking much more wider in perspective. In short, it is a very wise choice!

All the public universities in the country are in a terrible state of affairs. The low academic quality leading to a worsening crisis is a result of a variety of factors.

So how can one expect our public universities to attain academic and professional standards when there is such a blatant discrimination?

How can a country that labels itself an aspiring democracy condone, and justify such a nefarious practice of excluding a segment of its population, from participating effectively in public universities?

It is such a shame.

Millions of taxpayers money is spent on building universities and paying lecturers. The money comes from all, but the beneficiaries belong to one particular ethnic group.

Unless and until the racial apartheid is dismantled in the Malaysian education system in general, and in public universities in particular, it makes no sense to talk of the quality of the public universities.

Man, the more you asked them, the more confused they are. The education ministry ministers can't even talk and coordinate properly within their ministry itself. So, can we still trust them to oversee matters concerning education in this country?

A three years old boy can answer that. They are all sleeping like Badawi. Good for nothing. Even if we sacked him, we still get the same stupid idiot because they all come from same party and lead by a half past six president!

Nothing will Change. 50 years over and we still do not know what is the best system for our education let along building schools!

Malay leaders in Malaysia like to see their folks contained in a chicken coop. They tell them that they are free and yet to be beholden to them as they are the ones providing them their feed.

They even believe that if they left the coop, they might be eaten up by the wily fox, and that they might otherwise starve to death.

The Singapore malays is in no illusions and they know they are out of the coop. They got to find their own nourishment and they got no leader throwing in the crumbs to them.

If they don't want to labour for their food, they can always go across the causeway and be given citizenship rights and take advantage of all the crumbs thrown at them. But most of them will not.

Of course the chicken shit from there have all long crossed over. But the rest have a little more dignity and stay on to show what they are really made up of.

I respect the Singapore malays for that. It does not matter that they have made a lot of wrong turns or that they have hardly a fighting chance. But they got more respect and dignity than their kinsfolk from over here Malaysia.

This is what half-past-six ministers that we have in Malaysia. Even comparison between Singapore malays and Malaysian Chinese, Singapore malays are never discriminated by their government based on equality.

I have so many Singapore malay friends from school mates, college mates to business partners. Penang malays would be so glad if they are treated like Singapore malays. Just ask the Singaporeans……….do they want to be back to Malaysia?

The problem with the Malaysia malays is their jealous attitude. If they are left behind, they will prevent others from moving ahead too! And sometimes even sabotaging others, and some resort the use to cast spell on others.

Not only the laid back malays are preventing their own people from being successful, but other races too. We also want the malays to be successful by creating value in the society so that everyone benefit but not by taxing the non-malays then give contracts to the malays, who will then deliver half-past-six service.

Change your own attitude first through value creation using your own tears and sweats!

As said before, had Malaysia been managed by Lee Kuan Yew and his colleagues for the past 40 years, Malaysia would have been much better off today, including all the malays! 95% would have owned a house, and no such rampant corruption!

For the malay ultras, facts speak louder than your bigotry cries, wake up, grow up, be men instead of sissies!

You see the problem here - the malays just cannot face up to their main problem - Laziness. This shows how thick-skinned and self-deluded these people are.

Malaysia is a multi-racial country. Jika kamu tak suka, kamu boleh blar……….tiada orang larang kamu.

The fact is malays you are the biggest loser! I am trying to wake you up instead of using the way like what our government is practice to provide NEP even though it is proven NEP is a failure in the past 30 years. Keep on dreaming if you think Malaysia could achieve Vision 2020 with your kind of attitude!

Majority of the Penang big government contracts is being awarded to the malay firms. What else you want! They get the same as other malays in Malaysia. The only different in Penang is, the Umno guys cannot tap the government fund into their own pocket, as other state Umno did. This is the main reason why they raised this issue.

Speaking without substances and distorting facts seems to be the good old habitual ways of Malaysia malays, which is probably inherited by their much loved masters, the "malay killers" - Umno.

To add to this, constant distorted facts with regards to the situational state of the Singapore malays remains among the commentators of Umno. It is hard not to see that some people really need to see the situation and know it first hand before dishing out their empty vessel mentalities.

Anyways, good thing you be it Malay, Indian, Chinese in Singapore is open to competition, and cherish diversity. Not like the radical son of terrorist we can find many in Malaysia.

Most malays in Malaysia hate diversity and discontent to the minorities, especially the Chinese. In blog, radical malays can be either extreme or pretentiously diverse-minded. Very few is genuine.

I do admit there are lazy malays that depend on handouts, but this kind of malays will be phase out and this kind I would say hypocrite. They tend to claim they work hard to achieve success, in fact they relaying on government support. I myself despise this kind of human being.

Little do they realize this safety net is fast disappearing because the government is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the system in the face of global challenges! But these handouts have become an addiction. Refuse the junkie and you get booted out of power.

It is the malays themselves that must come to realize the damaging side effects of the NEP. For someone who wants no better than to see his own race succeed, this must be painful.

And you can frequently see the malays are often envious of not only the non-malays, but of their own successful malays as well.

Malays failed is a fact. What make non-malays not happy about their failure is, they fail despite get ample help from the government.

And they continue putting the blame on their fail to, especially the Malaysian Chinese. This is why created so many issue and argument here.

But those greedy Umno guys keep emphasis the NEP, how many percent of the country wealth belong to malays. In fact, those Umno guys having super good life by easy way.

And they keep on demanding, not really review what was wrong with it, putting the blame to non-malays, to stir the racist sentiment in the country.

If present situation continue, even the malays get 60% of the country wealth, majority of the malays will still munch.

Simple solution - come to Singapore and see for yourselves even if you want to guise that our Singapore malays are in lesser numbers on success than the Malaysia idiotic counterparts - our Singapore malays are based on merits and not on such keris wielding Umno policies……….are you proud of that?

Once again, in a subtle and indirect manner, this forum has proven how naive and "katak bawah tempurung" a Malaysia malay can be. Blame who? The Umno policies.

Yes, start collecting the achieves with regards to moral degradation among Malaysia malays. Look at the Umno ministers when they speak on national TV? Qualify or not become ministers with such low reactive capabilities!

Some Malaysia malays saying Singapore malays quota should be more in the Singapore cabinet if compared to the Indians. First, Singapore government is based on merit system and not like you bunch of racist moron Malaysia malays here. That is why Malaysia is so backward if compared to Korea and others.

Not many Malaysia malays can survive if they go oversea because they are slow and lazy and that is why they can't compete with the competitive market out there. Normally they will end up hiding their head in Malaysia with the protection and biased system by the Malaysia government.

Come on, man. We do not have time to argue the truth of your on and on talk about "not all malays are spoofed, not all malays are lazy". Like we are dying to argue that when we already know it is true.

It is human nature to blame everyone about their plight rather than blame themselves. The majority of new generation of malays in Singapore is educated, unlike their parents.

Please read the comments made by Singapore malays why they can hold their heads up and be proud as a Singapore malay and then maybe it will sink into you.

Muslims everywhere unless they are the minority, cannot tolerate people with different religions. The Singapore government handles the situation rather well as they handle their malay community with kid gloves.

Yes, it is good that China will one day become a superpower and I am very proud of it too - as a Chinese. That goes too for India and I am glad it too will become a super power.

By the way, don't be a katak, many businessmen friends I have are already having trading relationships with China, Singapore etc. Most with China, it is good money there if one is careful and knows the opportunities.

We don't have to return there, we can go anywhere. Today is global you know. We return here for rest and visit friends.

Most make their money and keep outside the country - you know la to help the NEP. Not to have too much money in Malaysia to be counted as non-malay assets. Otherwise how can malays catch up with thousands of overseas Malaysian Chinese earning millions!

Mind you, many of those top graders who are working overseas are earning many times more! My own niece is making in the region of 100000 pound sterling per year at the age of only 30!

Actually Malaysian pay is very low compared to the West just like Indonesian pay is very much lower than Malaysian. So the lucky ones are enjoying their fruits of their labour.

It is ok, we are helping to ensure NEP a success by decrease our percentage of wealth.

I think Lee Kuan Yew had a point. Yes, we do have ethnic representations in our government, but the problem that lies herein is that they too are corrupt. And it not merely the non-malay politicians who are corrupt, it is all of them, malays or non malays.

At the end of the day, yes, non-malays are marginalised when it comes down to education quota systems, government employment contracts - that is undebateable. However they are not the only ones. It is the poorer population who are suffering.

Malay and non-malay representations in our government is slacking. For it they are representing no one but themselves. My Chinese counterparts do not forget that, it is not just non-malays who are emigrating. Malays too are emigrating.

How many times do we need to keep emphasising this: We must stand together as Malaysians and fight for all peoples rights, not just malays or non-malays.

A voice, one said 'Lee Luan Yew is a racist with malice intentions on the malays from long ago'. But what about our own government?

I don't care many about Lee Kuan Yew. But I certainly do care about our own government and leader, because what they do/say affects all Malaysians. And I am pissed off that I have racist state representatives speaking (not using the opinions of the Malaysians, but using their own fascist racist rationale) in the name of Malaysia.

When they say there is no racial marginalization in Malaysia, they are lying outright. When they asked Lee Kuan Yew to apologize for his racist remarks, they are being hypocrites.

When they instill policies that favor one race over the other, when they show keris in front of audiences, when they tell other races to shut up, when they……….(ah too many examples, just fill in the blanks la), they are being racists.

And they are publicly showing their hypocritical, lying and racist stands in the name of Malaysia!

Fellow Malaysians, our leaders make all us Malaysians seem like hypocrites and liars and racists. That is shameful and outright unacceptable! (Plus we are getting sucked from all the policies too.)

(This is Ramadan month, so those Muslims who speak against their conscience that the non-malays are not marginalized should think first, for Allah is listening.)

Let us look at the actual scenario. There are unsuccessful ones in all three major races in Malaysia. Umno supporters will project all Chinese are rich and successful. This is deceit and totally rubbish.

There are some non-malay cronies that got rich but most improve their economic and education level without government assistance. This is hard work and sweat.

I can't explain and I don't know why most malays after all the assistance from government still fail to make the mark.

If one malay can afford to buy properties, why the discount?

Malay or Umno still feel non-malay especially Malaysian Chinese bashing is fun and show superiority. Honestly, this show his inner inferior complex but refuse to accept. If you can't compete even after all the grand assistance, you do bashing!

While it is true that Arab Muslim has major contribution in science in the past - what has the malay Muslim provided?

Remember you can discriminate and wave keris in Malaysia only. Do and try it in other countries - let us see what happen!

Non-malays who can afford to leave or manage to leave Malaysia for countries that appreciate them better they have done extremely well to help their new found home.

The more I look at the old man Mahathir……….I just felt sorry for him.

Let us accept that fair and free competition will not happen in Malaysia soon. It is good. In the long run Malaysia will be left behind compare to other third world.

It is sad and I pity Malaysia with many malays thinking Chinese bashing is the right thing even the so-called highly educated one.

Lee Kuan Yew is great in his truthful remarks about marginalisation of Chinese in Malaysia. Contrary to what Mahathir said. He is very well respected in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and among oversea Chinese all over the world.

His remarks were mentioned in many international Chinese magazines/newspapers, and also news here in England. It is about time for Umno malay leaders to stop the use of outdated terms of bumi/non-bumi.

We, the World Chinese Association is making a formal complaint to United Nation department of protection for minority rights and too China foreign minister about this issue. Don't underestimate the influence of oversea Chinese.

They can have Cantonese, Hokkien, Mandarin and any number of schools that they want. They are paying for them from private donations. It is their money. Malays go to school with government money, which is taxpayers money, and more than 70% - 80% of those who pay tax are Chinese - although they are only about 25% - 30% of the population.

The international language is English and the national language is malay. If the Chinese are left out on these two languages, they suffer not the malays, so why are we so concerned whether they want to learn in Chinese, English or Malay!

Man, words of wisdom indeed. Indeed why should one be jealous if another is willing to pay and work hard according to his wishes. Bravo!

True, question the rights aren't getting us anywhere. Realizing the situation of the Malays generally require us of all races to work together in helping them. This doesn't mean that we have to ignore those which is non bumi.

For us to become as one, Bangsa Malaysia it has to be base on equallity. But what contitute equallity? Rm 50 ringgit to one family regarless of how many members in the family will not conclude "equality"

I support the blog for allowing open discussion. this is what we need. We discuss and to Anuar keep on...

Bangsa Malaysia? Anda kata melayu pentingkan diri, abih tu kau punye kaum tak macam tu ke? i don't think so. Nak wujudkan bangsa Malaysia bukan satu perkara mudah, semua bangsa mesti memahami perlembagaan negara.Perlembagaan pun korang tak tau, macam mana kite nak mewujudkan bangsa Malaysia. Ini tak, Lee Kuan Yew cakap korang angguk je, kononnye betul sangatle orang tue cakap. Sedare Wihogn ni pulak nak mempertikaikan ISLAM, dah namenye ISLAM ni agama RASMI Malaysia. Takkan tak paham2 lagi kot. Eloklah tu kalau sedare nak tukar kerakyatan sebab orang macam sedare memang tak diperlukan, perangai pengkhianat negara memang terserlah.

Kalaulah semua tulisan ini dianggap satu tinjauan pendapat, rasanya KITA SEDANG BERADA DITEPI JURANG PERKAUMAN YANG AKAN MELETUS BILA-BILA MASA DARI SEKARANG.

Wallahu’alam.

We need to analyse the root cause of this issue. One important point to note here is that the non-Malay nowdays are very much greedy compared to the former generations. I wish we can return back to 1950s and sent back all the immigrants( Non-Malays) back to China and India instead agreed to give them Citizenship and at that time the leaders agreed in return to keep certain privilages to Malays in return to this huge sacrifice.
Otherwise, we will be like Brunei. Only Malays Citizenship and other ONLY allowed to work with permits. After that, go home where you belongs.

I don't think Chinese was surpressed in Malaysia, In Fact, if we tour around the country, almost 100 % of the Town Area, shoplots are being occupied by the Chinese. Malays are minority or none!!

If you are woking for MNC especially in Penang, to have Malays as an executive is abnormal. Almost 98 % of the Senior Managers are Chinese.
The section contributed to very high Salary ranged compared to Government Sectors. Is this we call unfair to the Chinese? The Goverment do not have any plan to correct this situation but the Chinese is shouting very loud on what Malays can have in the Government. !!

If we want to be fair, let's have all the Trade and Import Licences,AP, Jobs, Other Equities put on table. Then, we divide them to all the people across the level and not to Chronies!
I bet the Chinese won't surrender their Equities as they are filty rich now. They are rich because of Malays who are idiot!!Basically the idiots are from UMNO. It is very sad!!! NEP failed because there are so much corruption. Even if the NEP is extended until the D-Day, we won't achieve the target if the same Government that we are having now.

We need to FOCUS on Education System as a start. Should ONLY have one type of School. Why Singapore can have one School Type?
We need to abolish all the Chinese and Indian School. The Education system should be improved by taking all aspects and integrate the current school system and study the developed countries Education System. Then, we can have a solid pillar for our "BANGSA". If we keep continue to have Sek Kebangsaan, Chinese and Tamil, we will be keep talking about racial issue forever!!!!

If we analyse today situation, the Chinese and Indian already started not to respect Malays/Muslim anymore. Why???? It is because they do not mix with Malay in the school anymore compared to 1970s and 1980s. Many of them are coming from Chinese or Tamil schools.
How do you appreciate others if you do not know them???

Education Minister should look into this matter seriously NOW. Tun Razak had a very good system in the 1970s and 1980s. Every on knows Dato Onn,Yap Ah Loy,Mat Kilau, and Others. We also knows how the Chinese and Indian came to Tanah Melayu! Why Tanah Melayu? It is because the Malays are the citizen!

Another approach should be going back to Al _Quran as a ref to our Constitution. Al-Quran doesn't divide by Races. It only talks about Muslim and Non-Muslim.

Last but not least, the Chinese and Indian should be thankful to the former Malays as they did not have long Vision. If it is now, I think we should not give Citizenship to Chinese and Indian. Corruption will be almost ZERO as no want will give Bribes. Now, the Malays always received Bribes from the Rich Chinese and they will sell APs, Other Licenses(Ali-baba) or even small money to the policemen.

Corruption induced by non-Malays!!!

Islam is the Solution!!!

For those non-Malays who think Other Countries are better, I think you should go , stay there and DON't come back. Please surrender your citizenship as well.
It makes a lot better if most of you do so!!

It seems like many of you non-Malay very much hate Malay and condemn the race in general. Personally ,I think it is too much to generalized all the issues that we have in Malaysia pertaining to Malay or Non-Malay.

Let's be specific:
In Education, Minister implement based on Merit and we had some Chinese Students appeal to be in Medical School after the seats are taken by mostly "Brilliant Malays".
So, is Merit is an issue? If based on Merit, many Malays already are in genious category. Many got 8As in the SPM.
Let's move to Private Sectors, many Malay executives ie Engineers and Managers are NOT BEING FAIRLY Treated in MNC which mostly controlled and managed by the Chinese. Even if there are posts for new hires, the management tends to hire Chinese even their Degrees are from Double-Storeys Houses that converted to University with Twin Programme.
They even cannot talk English with proper grammer and wordings. It shameful and some of you think Chinese are GREAT!!!

Let's move to Business, many Chinese Businessmen associated with Malays who got the "Cable" and Govennment link. If we really observed the current situation, many Biz like Furnitures, Car Accessories and many more are having Malay as their major Customer Base. Without Malay Support, the Biz may Die.

In this area, we need to produce more educated Malay so that we do not support Chinese Biz. The Government should have a strategy to make all the Biz Oppurtunity Equal. Then , we can see how the Equal right goes. At the moment, many Supermarket/HyperMarket are being monopolised by Chinese bizmen. I think we should Split them and buy their shares. I think the Import Permit for all the Base Commodities should be Review, like Bawang, Beras , Tepung etc. At the moment, Chinese have these and they are controlling the price and how many in the market.

If we divide the Equity to other smart Malay who really want to do Biz and not political "Dato", I think we can be at better rate to succeed.

The main issue that we have in Malaysia is that all BIZ are monopolised by politicians or politicians link.(include Chinese).
If this change, we can be better and we don't have to talk about race.

We need to educate the Non-Malay about Islam. Malays do not represent Islam. Islam does not divide people according to Races. Islam is a way of life. If we follow truely, many people will be attracted. Islam empire was the great Empire last time. The human civilization, Medical, mathemetics ,etc are all came from Islam World. This is a fact and history.

History will repeat itself.

Malays are a race of people who still live under a coconut shell. To us, the world is as big as the shell we live in. We are fortunate because we are princes of the land, our land is fertile, anything can grow on it.

When we want to cook curry, coconuts are there. If we want chicken meat, all the kampung chicken run wild. If we want to eat fish, we can easily catch one or two from the rivers or padi field. What more, we produce petroleum too, the only thing is we have not learned how to extract petrol and diesel from it.

"Malaysia is very advanced, self-sufficient and most knowledge in the world come from Malaysia, so all the information that we need are in Bahasa Melayu. The world better learn Bahasa Melayu in order to access all these wonderful knowledge that we have in Malaysia. Because we are world's biggest economy, other countries who want to trade with us better learn Bahasa Melayu."

We also have a lot of "former world No. 1" exporters - tin, rubber, palm oil, air conditioner, etc. How nice to relive the nostalgic yesteryears every now and then……….

We may never be big again. Never mind. "Malaysia Boleh!" We Malaysia Boleh compare with the Japan, German, America, anybody, just name them!

Funny, isn't it? The country will be 50 years after independence, the government still provide us with tongkat. We love you Malaysia!

This is a laughing stock article.

Indonesia is a very corrupted country. Honestly, the people there are not educated at all. In addition, they don't know what is the important of Chinese there.

They hate Chinese is because Chinese do business well and have a well-planned future. We earn money with our own hand. Therefore, that is why we have a better live than the so-called native malays.

Like Chinese always said, if you want to have a better live than you must use your own hand to earn it. You cannot just sit at home and waiting for the money drop from the sky. Think logic!

Why did the Chinese wanted to stay in Indonesia? Because we are not stupid, that is why. They do business in Indonesia is because; they can easily earn more money there. The competitors are also less there. If you try to visit every country in this world even Africa, you will always the existent of Chinese there. As a Chinese proverb said, as long there is water in that country, we will sail to that country.

You can't let Chinese alone because of your extreme jealousy, it is your evil-mindedness that causes malays to have such a bad reputation, not because of Chinese bad-mouthing you.

There are no malays that are naturally rich, they got rich because of the bribes they received from Chinese (not proud saying that, but need to bribe for survival). Most malays that are rich have political positions, governs commerce/trade that Chinese need to get through to.

Chinese Indonesians comprised of only 5% of the total population, and yet we control Indonesia economy entirely. That is fact.

I must add however, not all Chinese are rich, there are many also that are less than middle-class, they own food stands on the street, they run small shops, etc. But all managed to live a very decent life.

Where are you living now? If you are still in Indonesia/Malaysia, take the chance and earn as more money there. With the lack of competition there, business can be easily built up. Earn as much money as you can. When it is enough, take all the money out of that Indonesia. Close the business, and start a new live in another better place.

Move to somewhere like Australia. Forget about Indonesia. That country is useless. Junk malays are stuck there. The reason they riot because they are stupid! They jealous of what the Chinese have.

I am happy to hear that you are in oversea next. Indonesia is not your home, your real home is in China. Indonesia treats Chinese badly, so as a Chinese we must think smart. Since that Chinese only have 3 to 5% in Indonesia, we shall not continue to live there and fight. We cannot fight them because they control the armies as well the government.

We should think smart, we have the brains. Earn as more money as we can and when it is enough like 1 to 10 million, take all of them and move to other country. This is call smart, try to imagine when each person get 1 million out of Indonesia, and the country will collapse badly. And I mean it very badly.

Sometime it is quite funny when all the rich Chinese move their money out of Indonesia, and the country collapse right away.

The truth is the truth, don't try to make stupid articles and insult Chinese how weak Chinese is.

You malays people are lazy. You will never be like us Chinese, we are far more superior than you all combined. We even dominated this earth and you are just guests here, you malays don't belong in Asia, but China for Asia. Malays are just islanders. Give us time and soon we will conquer your puny little islands just to throw our garbage and waste.

Hello Malays/Muslims enjoy!

You members of a perfect religion of fairness, equality, justice, say: very fair, very Islamic and very just!

You rule by force, you grabbed power by force, and will remain where you are until greater force is applied; after all one does say: "……….never antagonize the malays and the Muslims…………"

Why? Is it because you guys are a bunch retards and uncivilised people who will go amok and grab the parang because you do not know how to debate like intelligent people, and when you cannot rationalise your unfair and unjust positions, you chop off necks - like you did on 13 May 1969.

You guys are evil and the good news is that history is replete with examples of evil being defeated. It might take a while in the end you will be defeated.

Yes right!

How wonderful if those twin evils (the NEP and the Ketuanan Melayu) do one day disappear as predicts. Alas, however, got so many things wrong before, I do hope is right on this occasion.

And why not go back to the Stone Age instead and really start all over again! It won't make any difference you know, you guys already have a Stone Age mentality, so you will fit in nicely.

Actually this is what was meant when it used to be said: "balik kampung" alas it is not politically correct to say such things, but since you really want to, be my guest!

LOL! Why complain when some the top rich people in Malaysia are still non-malays?

Why? Why? Why? Because emigrating to Australia/China/US has not helped you much, has it, dog?……….a few swallows make a spring, not! That is why.

I suppose that just went over your scalp - whiz! Hello is anybody home!

See yes right!

I am very sure even the Chinese does not approved posting as such. Again please, this is an open forum. You can comment on almost anything and voicing out your frustration but calling unnecessary names and condemning religion are way out of line. Please we are not picking a fight here – it’s mere discussion

Let me tell you a story.

I am a Malay son of a poor port labourer. Sixteen years ago I started working in a private (read that as 'Chinese')firm. I worked hard until I was promoted to be a Technical Director and eventually after eleven years was offered to become a Director in the Company.

Part of the reason I was offered to become a Director could be because I am a Malay but the major reason is that I am technically competent.

Some of the racists who spewed their racial venom here may not believe that a Malay can be hardworking and succesful and be promoted to the top management and offered share in a Chinese firm on merit basis. We lazy Malays can never excell in fields that require 'so called' hard Mathematic and Science.

Was I promoted because I am a Malay?

Let me continue the story. You know what? I declined their offer because being adventurous risk taker I wanted to set up my own firm (which is another story altogether). Now sixteen years later and five years after I left the company, my Chinese ex-director contacted me to do a job for them. Is it a handout job for a Malay? No, I was asked to design for them an installation that may cost more than twenty millions. If I am an incapable lazy Malay would I even be considered?

My sister is an offspring of a poor Malay port labourer; she is now a doctor. Is she working with government receiving handouts? No, she has her own established private clinic.

My brother a son of a poor port labourer, is he receiving government largesse? No, he has a succesful restaurant bussiness patronized by multi racial clients. Yes, Chinese and Indian customers too.

Is a Bangsa Malaysia just a dream?

It is a dream for those people who think that a race is inherently lazy and incompetent in all things and another race is inherently superior in everything. It is a dream to politicians of all hues who perpetuate imbalance and gain materially from an NEP that is supposed to create balance. It is a dream to those who cry for equality in government policy treatment while denying equality and fairness to others in their bussiness dealing.

Well it is not a dream to me, to my brother and sister, to my Chinese ex-Directors, to my non Malay colleagues and partners, to my brother's patrons and customers and to many other right thinking Malaysians.

F***k Muslims and all malay pig in Malaysia.

I feel ashamed to call myself a Malaysian nowadays because you malay pig are making us losing our pride day by day by corrupting the once dignified image of this country, you know Malaysia is now a laughing stock among the non-Muslim countries in the world!

People despise this country still protecting the lame lot and not doing anything to improve the deteriorating situation, still practising double standards among its own people, still expelling the non-malay genius to other countries, still depriving the rights and benefits of other races to its own race, still criticize and blame the Chinese for their minority poverty.

Hey, what is wrong with you malay pig? Haven't you fed yourself enough with the loots yet? Still want more? What a worthless thieves bunch!

You malay pig are worse than a maggot. We need leader not a faggot to rule this country. Get lost you freak!

For all the bad things you stupid melayu babi say about the Chinese, when you are in trouble and big shit, what do you do?

You come crawling back on your knees to the Chinaman to help you, because you can't trust all your malay pig who are rapists, sodomy incest culprits, drug addicts.

Without the Chinese, you malay pig will still live on trees, swinging from tree to tree like monkeys or forages on the ground by your 4 legs to eat all the shit.

You malay pig are a truly ungrateful lot - the minute all the Chinese leave Bolehland - you malay pig will collapse into the sea and die - that is your destiny!

I guess the problem of malay pig race is their culture - it is in born in their gene - nowhere in the world that you will see affirmative action is focusing on the majority because it is always the minority that need the protection.

Worst, the minority in Malaysia has been systematically been marginalized just to suppress them of their growth.

Let the malay pig make Malaysia the most corrupted place to live in and see what happened in 2020? I guessed malay pig will go back to Indonesia as Malaysia don't belong to them, they are also immigrants from Sumatra, Sulawesi, Jawa, etc.

Please get it into your pea-sized otak udang plastered with layers and layers of tahi babi encased in your kepala kayu that Malaysia belongs to the Orang Asli who are the true bumis of the country.

Niffy pellmell malay pig are in fact pendatang haram who swam across the Melaka Strait illegally from Sumatra. They should be caught, given severe caning and deported back to their pig sties in Sumatra.

Let me clarify. I am not against non Malays, never was, never am and never will be. Some of my bussiness partners and friends are non Malays.

But the anonymity of the Internet make people believe that the are untouchable. Their true colour comes out. They want to argue but all that come out from them are filth.

Find who these people are and deport them or persuade them 'gently' to go to wherever they think is best for them. There is no reason for them to stay in Malaysia if they hate the Malay so much.

For the rest of us, Malay, Chinese, Indians and others who want to stay, let us work together for a better and more equitable Malaysia.

Living in Malaysia I sure all of us would had colleagues and friends from all races whether there are Malays, Chinese or Indian. Most of them are good people as well as hard working personal depend on what they really want for their live and family. On achievement it really depends on individual desire for success. All the people regardless of Malay, Chinese or Indian want a safe and stable place to live and work where they can raise their family and persuading their own dream.

Some would prefer a stable job to had spend more time with their family or persuade their own personal interest in any field they like. Some would want to become an entrepreneur and make a different in their life.

This doesn't mean those who prefer to stay with what their doing are lazy but just a different priority for them.

I am sure this is common among our friends or colleagues regardless of races. Thus please do not insult any race with word like lazy pig or express superiority over your own race against others. I am a Malaysian Chinese but I don’t feel that my culture is anything superior than others. Is your attitude and behavior that gain the respect but not your race or culture background. In fact my Malays friends and colleagues are very nice people and berbudi bahasa, a quality that make others very comfortable when with them.

Life cannot be 100% perfect as well as race. Every race will have their own social problem no matter it is corruption, selling pirated VCD or commit crimes. So please do not mark any race just because of minority of them had persuade such activities.

For the bloggers who use such an insulting words against any other race, either calling them lazy pig or asking them to go back china or india, I believe their are the very minority and all of malaysian would want this country to be successful.

So please do not fall into their trap till become emotional and make nonconstructive criticism.

We know the country is in her soon to be realized crisis economicaly and socially especially with the depreciation of oil reserve around 2011. Don’t be surprise our politician would have their house ready in US, Australia or London and be the first to run away with money!

We also know that the current government can never be trusted. Malays know UMNOputra had betrayed them just as Chinese and Indian know how MCA or MIC takes advantage of their own people.

The first step towards problem solving is hearing. Try understanding what other trying to tell us, ask till we fully understand it and can rephrase it without error.

Reading most of the posts here had really opened my eye on what other race trying to tell us, things that may be too sensitive to voice out or discuss even amongst our multiracial circle of friends.

The good thing of internet is it provides opportunity for everyone to voice their opinion. Let’s use it as a tool not a weapon to destroy others in our own country.

Our next discussion should be on understanding the fact that cannot be changed and how can we help each others towards a better future.

Till them, wish all of us who do care about this country and willing to spend our time reading all these blogs a wonderful day and overcome every challenge in life.
